Evac+Chair International has extended the training service it offers to support its emergency evacuation chairs by introducing a Key Trainer Masterclass©.
Designed for medium to larger organisations, it provides a higher level of training for ‘key trainers’. An employee who receives the Key Trainer Masterclass© training is then entitled to train other employees in turn. This makes it a useful and cost-effective method of sharing information within organisations, which are often multi-site. Evac+Chair International now has four experienced training staff who carry out numerous training courses nationally.
Key trainer certification is valid for 2 years, after which re-assessment is recommended.
The Key Trainer Masterclass© complements Evac+Chair’s comprehensive after sales service which also include a nationwide maintenance service. Under the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2006 (RRO), these support services are just as important as providing the right equipment for the mobility impaired, to demonstrate due care.
Evac+Chair also provides a practical short course for employees willing to learn the simple techniques. Carried out where possible on-site, it involves 2½ hours of hands-on training and assessment for groups of up to four individuals.
