The MiniStretcher is a simple, effective manual handling solution for lifting and transferring an injured or incapacitated person onto an Evac+Chair so that they can be swiftly evacuated to safety and is particularly valuable at venues like stadiums and arenas.
Evac+Chair’s managing director Mark Wallace said, ” In the sport and leisure market, it is accepted that there is a greater potential for injuries to occur. As such, there is a greater need for evacuating the injured, making it a key market for the MiniStretcher.”
Unlike traditional stretchers, the MiniStretcher is specifically designed to stay with the injured person in the Evac+Chair throughout their journey for comfort and onward travel. It is manufactured from tough, waterproof, washable, reinforced material with a plastic board neck support. The flexible plastic board adapts to the Evac+Chair and injured person for comfort throughout the entire journey.
Once in the Evac+Chair the injured person can be transported on the flat or down stairs quickly and safely. The Evac+Chair can be operated by one person and there is no need for great physical strength because operation is smooth and controlled due to specially modified V-belts which work continuously to slow down descent over stair nosings in proportion to the weight of the passenger.
We are delighted to confirm that Evac+Chair have moved to a brand new 40,000 square feet state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities at:
