Marketing Manager

Job Purpose

The Marketing Manager is the brand guardian and will be responsible for the planning, delivery and reporting of all Marketing activity. The role is responsible for the development and implementation of integrated industry leading marketing campaigns and communications which deliver high quality leads, build the sales pipeline and contribute towards the delivery of corporate objectives.

Person Specification

The Marketing Manager must have a strong commercial acumen and the ability to develop and deliver campaigns that retain existing customers and attract new ones. With a solid understanding of product and brand marketing and experience of on and offline marketing activities that deliver ROI. Customer centric and have the skills and experience to utilise customer insights to develop compelling marketing communications and campaigns that drive lead generation. A strong written and verbal communicator the Marketing Manager must have the skills to develop and influence strategic relationships with key personnel/departments within the ECI business. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for ensuring all marketing communications are ‘on-brand’ and deliver against KPIS and contribute towards the corporate objectives.

Experience (Essential/Desirable)

  • 5 years working within a product/category marketing environment (Essential)
  • Product launch experience (Essential)
  • Integrated campaign planning and management (Essential)
  • Copywriting skills (Essential)
  • Digital Marketing (Essential)
  • Budget planning and management (Essential)
  • Agency management (Essential)
  • Commercial awareness (Essential)
  • Project Management (Desirable)

Qualifications (Essential/Desirable)

  • Minimum A-level qualification or equivalent (Essential)
  • Marketing related degree, or similar qualification (Essential)
  • CIM qualification or similar qualification (Desirable)

Special Requirements

  • Experience with CRM software is essential
  • Experience of website CMS systems is essential
  • Experience of Google Analytics and Google AdWords is essential
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Teams.
  • Full driving licence and car – travel will be required for agency meetings and exhibitions
