A significant expansion programme is currently
underway at Evac+Chair International.

7,500 extra sq ft have been acquired, doubling the size of the Birmingham site and relieving pressure on manufacturing capacity to enable it to cope with continuing demand.

Evac+Chair International Ltd is enjoying excellent sales growth, with results for 2005 showing 64% increase since 2002, largely through the popularity of its award-winning Evac+Chair stairway emergency evacuation chair for the mobility impaired. Export sales have increased by 15% over the same period.Last year saw a 10% increase in the number of staff to support this consistent strong growth.

Recently, Evac+Chair International was commended for its achievements at the prestigious Birmingham Business of the Year Awards.
